The taught Infection Biology MSc will help you to develop your knowledge and understanding of the molecular mechanisms by which bacteria, viruses and parasites cause disease in humans and in domesticated animals, and the immune responses generated by these hosts to such pathogens. You can choose to specialise in virology, microbiology (bacteriology) or parasitology.

Additional Information & Requirements

A 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent in biomedical science or a relevant subject. Alternative qualifications, professional experience and 2:2 applicants with a strong subject specific expertise will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. You are required to provide two references and a full degree transcript with your application. IELTS 6.5 overall with no element less than 6.0 (or equivalent).
