Biomedical science is a rapidly growing field that combines the principles of biology and medicine to understand the human body's functioning and disease processes. The program integrates training in research, laboratory techniques, critical thinking, analytical skills, and communication skills. For over a quarter of a century, this course has been taught at Wolverhampton by researchers and guest lecturers from relevant fields. With the expertise of these individuals – their careers ranging from Hospital Consultants to Senior Biomedical Scientists, many of them practised in NHS pathology laboratories – you will be equipped with skills for future employment and research, or, if you are currently employed, skills complementary to your clinical laboratory responsibilities.
A minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent, although substantial professional experience may be acceptable when combined with another qualification. IELTS 6.5 (min 6.0 in all components)
