The collaborative programme, led by our department of Archaeology and department of Classics and Ancient History gives you advanced grounding in the main themes and methods in Roman Archaeology and is ideal preparation for a PhD on the subject.
A 2:1 or above in their first degree in archaeology, history, ancient history, classics, anthropology, biology, geography, geology, chemistry, heritage, or similar. While we normally only accept applicants who meet these criteria, if you have a high 2:2 or equivalent, or are coming from a different academic background which is equivalent to degree level, or have relevant work experience, IELTS 6.5 overall with no element less than 6.0 (or equivalent).
