The global climate and biodiversity crises, the recent pandemic, declared aspirations for reaching net zero, and growing attempts to restore and rewild, all mean that science is at the centre of politics, policy, economics and societal behaviour. However misinformation, scepticism and misunderstanding are commonplace. This programme provides training in many forms of science communication, from working with schools, engaging with the media and briefing politicians to public engagement, event organisation and natural history filmmaking.
A strong upper second-class honours degree (65% or higher) or international equivalent in Biological or Natural Sciences, Ecology, Zoology, Marine/Freshwater/Aquatic Biology, Science or Zoology, Biosciences, Animal Behaviour, Global Change Biology, Conservation Biology and Ecology, Ecology and Conservation or Ecological and Environmental Sciences. IELTS 7.0 overall with 6.5 in all skills
