Program Overview

The MA in International Relations is a broad programme that sets out to help you understand contemporary global politics from a variety of theoretical, conceptual and practical perspectives. The programme offers you a range of courses that encompasses regional/area based analysis of security, politics, social and economics through to courses that explore specific themes and issues in global politics. You will take five taught modules each assessed by a 5,000 word essay. The programme culminates in the writing of a 20,000-word dissertation in a subject area of your own choosing.
