This is a flexible programme allowing you to choose a combination of modules (from the domestic to the global) that best suits your background and interests in the broad arena of politics. The course provides a variety of methods through which to study political life. You will take five taught modules each assessed by a 5,000 word essay. The programme culminates in the writing of a 20,000-word dissertation in a subject area of your own choosing.
2:1 degree in a related subject is normally required. We will also consider applications where you have a degree in other subjects, have a 2:2 or equivalent result and/or extensive relevant experience. IELTS 6.5 overall with no element less than 5.5 (or equivalent).
