Program Overview

This course investigates central issues of global justice: the debate between relativism and universalism, the foundation and content of human rights, responses to global poverty and inequality, cosmopolitan democracy and environmental justice. You develop a deeper and wider understanding of world politics and learn to think critically about these issues. We offer rigorous training in global justice and human rights, international relations theory and in theories and approaches to the study of politics. This helps you to develop the specialist knowledge and research skills from which to embark upon a career with significant international dimension or pursue a postgraduate research degree in global justice and ethics studies.
