This program is designed for individuals who hold a non-Psychology undergraduate degree and are interested in pursuing a career as a Psychologist without completing a second undergraduate degree. It should be noted that this is an MSc Psychology (Conversion) program, which differs from a traditional MSc Psychology program.
The MSc Psychology (Conversion) program offers a condensed and focused curriculum, covering approximately half of the content typically found in an undergraduate Psychology degree. This condensed program allows students to complete their studies in a shorter timeframe, approximately one-third of the time required for a full undergraduate degree. Additionally, the cost of the program is significantly reduced, representing only one-fifth of the expenses associated with a traditional degree.
Upon successful completion of the MSc Psychology (Conversion) program, you will be awarded a degree in MSc Psychology (Conversion). This degree provides eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society (BPS). Gaining GBC status is an important step toward pursuing further training and embarking on a career as a Psychologist.
It is important to note that prior knowledge of psychology is not expected or required for this program. It is specifically designed to cater to non-Psychology graduates who have an interest in psychology and wish to pursue it as a profession.
