1 Year On Campus Masters Program
The MSc Business & Organisational Psychology at the University of Westminster equips students with the applied psychological expertise to tackle real-world organisational challenges like recruitment, diversity, leadership, and wellbeing. It is designed for graduates—regardless of whether their undergraduate degree was in psychology—who want to work in HR, consultancy, learning and development, or business strategy.
Curriculum Structure:
Over one year of full-time study, students develop both theoretical understanding and practical skills. In the Business Psychology Research Methods module they master qualitative and quantitative study design, data collection and analysis in business contexts. The Psychology of Selection & Assessment course allows them to design, deliver and critique assessment tools for recruitment and development. Through Positive Psychology & Well-Being at Work, they learn how strengths, mindfulness, and organisational wellbeing contribute to performance and retention. In Strategic Organisational Effectiveness students explore change management, conflict, negotiation and behavioural change in organisations. The Psychology of Learning, Training & Development module teaches how to design effective training interventions and evaluate their impact on individuals and teams. Alongside, Psychology of Coaching & Mentoring for Professional Development offers practical coaching theory and practice. The programme culminates in the Business & Organisational Psychology MSc Project, a substantial research dissertation where students apply their learning to an area of their choice.
