The Department of Sociology, Philosophy and Anthropology is delighted to offer a Master s scholarship covering full UK/EU tuition fees (or an equivalent reduction for international fee payers) for an outstanding applicant to one of our Masters programmes for 2018/19. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of proven, outstanding academic merit and qualifications, evidence of outstanding academic promise, degree of fit with departmental research expertise, and innovative research plans.
2:1 or above in sociology, anthropology, statistics, data or English. While we normally only accept applicants who meet this criterion, if your first degree is in a different discipline, you have a high 2:2 or equivalent, are coming from a different academic background which is equivalent to degree level, or have relevant work experience. IELTS 6.5 overall with no element less than 6.0 (or equivalent).
