This course is designed for composers aspiring to work in the media industry and wanting to learn more about techniques for composing and producing music for film and TV. Taught by experienced professional film/TV composers, it provides an opportunity to collaborate with filmmakers and animators, as well as the chance to write for ensembles.
An honours degree in music at 2.2 or above (2.1 preferred), A folio of three contrasting compositions both scores and recordings, Evidence of familiarity with a sequencing programme such as Logic Pro, evidence of relevant experiential learning (eg work as a professional performer, composer or producer), overall score 6.5 (with no component less than 5.5).
