Food Science is a multi-faceted discipline focused on providing safe, nutritious, high-quality foods to the people of the world. Food Science combines elements of business, biochemistry, chemistry, economics, engineering, microbiology, and physiology within its scope. The interdisciplinary food science graduate program at Oklahoma State University gives students the opportunity to earn both MS and PhD degrees in food science. The program is structured to take advantage of the multidisciplinary nature of food science and offers several exciting areas of specialization in which to work. Thanks to the interdisciplinary nature of our program, students are able to access a wide variety of resources to craft programs of study that fit their own particular interests.
