The Master of Preservation Studies program has four principal tracks of learning: preservation planning, technology, theory/law, and architectural history. Its course work may be accomplished in three semesters: two of intensive course work, plus a semester to complete either a thesis or a work practicum. Students from varied backgrounds are accepted into the Master of Preservation Studies program, which adds a valuable element to the interdisciplinary approach taken within the curriculum. Graduates from the program can be found within top cultural heritage management positions within the U.S. and abroad. The program is also supported by a strong and engaged Tulane Preservation Alumni Group and a biennial Preservation Matters symposium that addresses new directions in the field.
