Program Overview

Herron s art therapy program is housed within a psychodynamic framework and pays close attention to the neurobiological mechanisms that are at the root of creative expression and symbolic, unconscious communication. You will get hands-on experience in a number of settings including mental health, medical, educational, and forensic facilities, using art- and evidence-based practices to assess, intervene, and treat people with various emotional, cognitive, physical, and mental health disabilities.
