Art history is the study of objects of art in their historical development and stylistic contexts, i.e. genre, design, format, and style. The course introduces art through selected topics, monuments, and specimens of its fine arts and material culture. Also introduces the distinctive artistic traditions weatern and eastern arts as well as their historical background, interaction and innovation, similarities and differences, to reach a better understanding of art.
