The Master of Arts in Design Criticism (MAD-Crit) is a two-year program that develops textual and visual argumentation in the areas of architecture, urbanism, landscape, and allied design practices. With the seemingly limitless expansion of design techniques and productive capacities today, there exists a new urgency for a parallel polemics that can contribute the conceptual armature and directives for the immediate future of design culture.
Application A 4 years bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) earned at an accredited college or university is required. Official yearly or semester wise mark sheets for each examination attempt, including failed or repeated exams. Official university-issued certification of degree and date awarded. GPA 3.0 out of (4.0 scale) Personal Statement (750 words) 3 Letters of recommendation Short Response (500 words maximum) CV GRE TOEFL iBT: 80 (Listening 17, Writing 21, Reading 19, Speaking 20) OR IELTS 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in each section Portfolio
