The Department of Apparel, Textiles, and Interior Design offers graduate resident programs in apparel and textiles with an interdisciplinary core of courses and individualized programs of study, capitalizing on the interests and disciplinary backgrounds of students and faculty to build the theoretical, technical, and methodological skills necessary to solve human ecological problems involving apparel and textiles. The master of science degree in apparel and textiles prepares students for professional careers within industry, for college instructor positions, and as preparatory work for a doctor of philosophy degree.
