Program Overview

Students in MICA's MFA in Filmmaking program learn all aspects of filmmaking and to be at the forefront of emerging practices in film through the exploration of new distribution, production, funding, and consumption models. Through unique partnerships with The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Film and Media Studies program and the Maryland Film Festival, students engage with a collaborative network that offers insight into a changing industry as they prepare for sustainable careers in film and media.
