The art of teaching is as important in the Peabody Vocal Studies Department as the art of performing. All members of the voice faculty are committed to training outstanding voice teachers, many of whom occupy faculty positions at colleges and universities across the country.
The education program in voice requires the same vocal strengths as entry to the performance program, emphasizing a belief in the importance of well-educated teachers and mentors for the younger generation in our country’s public and private schools.
