Pursue a career as an innovative music educator. In this master of arts program, you will take a wide range of courses in applied music, theory, and pedagogy, learning specialized and contemporary approaches to teaching music. During your course of study, you must complete one semester of fieldwork and two semesters of supervised student teaching at NYU-affiliated New York City schools.
