Program Overview

As part of the curriculum, students will complete a concentration in injury-preventive keyboard technique. This degree was created in response to a high rate of playing-related injuries among pianists and organists worldwide, often jeopardizing their futures in music.

BA in music or BM, Completed application form, The Salem College Honor form, Artistic Statement, 2 Recommendation Form, Immunization Record -- must be received by first day of enrolled class, An official sealed copy of the transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended, School records, including your overall Grade Point Average and standardized tests such as the TOEFL, SAT, ACT or IELTS; an essay; two teacher recommendations; and a list of your extracurricular activities, English Language Requirements:minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the Internet version, 213 on the computerized version or 550 on the paper test is required for admission, Financial Requirements
