During the first part of this completely online two-year program Music Industry Foundations students will explore the development of the music industry from a solely cultural phenomenon to a multifaceted commercial product, and its future direction, especially as it relates to independent artists and labels. They will study related intellectual property laws, and learn how society, culture, politics, commerce, law and technology intersect to shape the industry.
