Theater Arts unites experimentation and rigorous analysis in all that we offer. By immersing our students in production, history, theory, artistry, and craft, UCSC Theater Arts helps shape the performance-makers of the future. All students actors, dancers, directors, technicians, scholars, designers, playwrights, stage managers and dramaturges test theory on our three stages, learn technique in our studios and shops, and bring passion to their work on- and offstage.
