This degree is no less rigorous than the advanced master degree program, but includes courses which provide the necessary background in professional education towards a career teaching art for K-12 students.
High school GPA of 3.0/4.0 (US grading scale), Interview with Admissions Representative, Test scores: TOEFL minimum required score of 80, IELTS minimum required score of 6.5 overall band. Letter of Intent/Statement of Purpose, 2 Letters of Recommendation, Resume/CV and Sample research/writing sample. Students with a GPA below 3.0 may be required to submit GRE or GMAT scores. 15 pieces of artwork including at least 3 drawings, resume, proof of teacher's certification, portfolio interview with the program director
