Fairfield's Bilingual Education programs are designed for in-service teachers. The bilingual cross-endorsements prepare elementary and secondary teachers to teach grade-level academic curriculum in a language other than English. The goal of bilingual education is to educate K-12 students in all the academic subjects while they are learning English as a second or additional language (ESL).
