Computer science is a fast-growing field, and skilled educators and trainers are in high demand. This program is designed to support the teaching of computer science in educational settings but is NOT intended to lead to K-12 licensure.
NSU’s M.S. in Computer Science Education will prepare you to bridge that educational gap. In addition to pedagogical knowledge, you’ll have the skills necessary to demonstrate the ability to create basic computational artifacts and knowledge of computing systems and their integration. This includes security, privacy, and ethical considerations.
A bachelors degree earned at regionally accredited institutions or an officially approved equivalent, such as an evaluation by one of the approved agencies. A minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) Official Transcript CV TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.0 overall.
