3 Years On Campus Masters Program
A unique dual degree program is available to students who wish to have both the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and the Master of Arts in Counseling Ministry. The dual degree program prepares students for licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT) working in a clinical as well as congregational setting.
Bachelor's degree: A bachelor’s degree in psychology from an accredited college or university which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or the evaluated equivalency. Official transcripts: Send official bachelor's degree transcript from an accredited college or university with a 2.75* GPA or higher. Additional transcripts may be required to evaluate GPA and prerequisites. Written Statement of Purpose or Interview: Students will have the choice to submit a 500-word maximum essay or select an in-person/virtual program interview. Two electronic recommendations from sources who can address your potential for success. It is preferred that one recommendation be from an instructor or professor. Recommendations from friends and family are not acceptable. English language proficiency: A minimum score of 80 IBT on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
