Program Overview

The MA with PCC Concentration has been approved by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and meets the statutory requirements for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Licensure. All classes are held at the Stockton campus.The MA with PPS credential program has been revised to meet the current state standards, and has been approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC). The PPS credential is required of individuals who wish to work in a K12 school setting.

Additional Information & Requirements

At the graduate and postbaccalaureate level a minimum score of 550 on the paperbased exam or a score of 80 on the internet (TOEFL iBT) version is required. A fouryear college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate; A grade point average of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree; A grade point average of at least 2.5 (A = 4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted.
