Brandeis' Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies is one of the largest and most diverse of its kind. A community dedicated to intellectual openness and engagement, NEJS offers a range of master s degree programs geared to the individual needs of students. Our students choose to design a personalized curriculum through the diverse areas of expertise among our faculty, or they concentrate in one of three tracks: Bible and Ancient Near East, Jewish Studies and Arabic and Islamic Civilizations.
