Graduate application for international applicants. A baccalaureate degree from an institutionally accredited college or university with a minimum grade point average of 2.80 on a 4.00 scale. An official transcript from the baccalaureate institution with the degree posted, and official transcripts for all graduate work taken at other institutions. Praxis Core with individual minimum scores equal to reading=168 writing=165, and math=175 or 163. Praxis II test results that show a passing Virginia score. A successful background check by Newport News Public Schools. Three recommendation forms. Two essays. Resume. TOEFL Minimum required scores: 92 for the Internet-based TOEFL, Equivalent score of 237 on the computer-based TOEFL, Equivalent score of 580 on the paper-based TOEFL. IELTS minimum score of 7.0 is required.
