2 Years On Campus Masters Program
The Curriculum and Instruction specialization offers students rigorous and individually tailored programs of study with two degrees. The non-thesis Master of Education (Ed.M.) degree programs are designed for students with bachelor degrees who have an interest in deepening their knowledge in a specific content area (in or outside the College of Education) and and the thesis Master of Arts (M.A.) focuses on educational research in curriculum and instruction. The Ed.M. as a specialization is designed especially for teachers who wish to take courses in their teaching field as well as advanced coursework in teaching and learning. Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. Typically, students should have completed a minimum of four years of study beyond grade 12. Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a B grade or better. Provide three letters of recommendation through the online application process.
