Physical Education: Choose from a Traditional Master’s degree preparing candidates to teach physical education in a P-12 setting, an Alternative Master’s degree (designed for students who have not earned an undergraduate education degree or teacher certification), or a Education Specialist (EdS), an online program preparing candidates to teach physical education in a P-12 setting. Candidates in all these programs must meet AUM and Alabama Department of Education teacher certification requirements.
Application A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or an equivalent degree. Official Transcripts GPA 3.0 out of (4.0 scale) TOEFL iBT: 61 OR IELTS 5.5 overall. A copy of your valid, current Alabama Teaching Certificate reflecting certification in your proposed graduate teaching field on the Class B level.
