MEd Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education Non Thesis Option

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

University of Kentucky

Program Overview

The Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (IECE) Master of Education program prepares its graduates to consume, critique, produce, and apply research as a foundation to their leadership within their chosen professions. If an applicant already holds teacher certification in IECE, the graduate degree program leads to Rank II IECE certification in Kentucky. The Master of Education program does not lead to initial IECE certification. Students who want IECE certification, but have certification in another area or do not have any teacher certification, should first complete the graduate initial certification program in IECE, which leads to Rank III IECE certification.
