Program Overview

Preparation for Utah Basic Teaching License in Special Education in any of the following areas: Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Severe Disabilities, Preschool/Early Intervention Special Education, Visual Impairments, Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The Department of Special Education also offers graduate-level programs without a Teaching License. Students must complete a minimum of 30 semester hours of credit in order to graduate with a Master’s degree in Special Education through the Department of Special Education. Our programs require more than 30 credit hours of coursework.
