This is a program of study for candidates who have a bachelor s degree in the subject area they plan to teach, and who wish to seek dual certification in Adolescence and Students with Disabilities Grade 7-12 Generalist. Bachelor s degree with a B average (GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale) from an accredited institution, 2 personal recommendations, Successful completion of designated prerequisite courses with a minimum grade of C, TOEFL or IELTS, if English is not your first language -- UC requires a TOEFL score of 550 written, 213 computer-based, 79-80 internet-based and IELTS of 6.0.
