Program Overview

The M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership is a cohort designed for teachers who want to further develop their expertise in the classroom and increase their influence as teacher leaders. As a state-approved Teacher Leadership program, the first year of coursework counts towards the new Michigan "Advanced Professional Education" Certificate. This degree program is a joint offering between the Department of Organizational Leadership and the Department of Teacher Development and Educational Studies. Applicants to the Master of Education in teacher leadership degree program apply through Graduate Admissions.
