The 48-credit program will provide the Master s Degree candidates with dual certification in Literacy Birth through Grade 6 and Teaching Children with Disabilities- Childhood Special Education. It will give initially certified teachers the opportunity to enrich their classroom pedagogy with specialization in Literacy and Special Education. This dual Master s program is designed to foster the development of skills, attitudes, and diagnostic abilities needed to improve literacy functioning and identify and remediate learning and behavior disorders.
