Program Overview

The program is designed to provide the analytical skills essential to understand the development and management of musculoskeletal disorders, as well as the skills needed to promote preventive programs in industry and the health care environment. The program also trains the student in basic research, study design, and the use of equipment and measurement techniques employed in ergonomic and biomechanical evaluation and analysis. The master s program encourages students to participate in research activities in such areas as risk assessment, risk management, workplace evaluation, and workplace design and modification.
