Many biomedical engineers, particularly those whom work in research labs, need a graduate degree. The Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering provides students and practicing engineers with the theoretical and practical experience needed to succeed. The program has three objectives: to provide highly trained professionals to serve in academic institutions, government agencies, research labs and manufacturing and service industries; to provide minority students a great opportunity for advanced graduate studies; to supply additional minority graduates to the Biomedical Engineering field, where they are highly underrepresented.
