Program Overview

As the inaugural Associate Dean of Engineering (External Affairs), my duties include: Building partnerships and new academic programs (on-campus, off-campus, and online); Supporting the strategic planning and execution for existing undergraduate and graduate engineering programs at CUA: Biomedical Engineering; Civil Engineering; Electrical Engineering & Computer Science; Mechanical Engineering; Materials Science & Engineering; and Engineering Management; and Serving as Director of the Engineering Management graduate program. It was my privilege to graduate from The Catholic University Engineering Management Program and to serve in the US Navy as a nuclear trained submarine officer. The Engineering Management Program helped to prepare me for leadership duties in the US Navy, and for leadership roles as the Associate Deputy Secretary of Energy and later in Academia.
