The M.Eng. in Industrial Engineering degree is a non-thesis degree requiring at least 30 credit hours. M.Eng. in I.E. is a structured, professional-oriented master s degree to cover basic knowledge sets, methods and tools in industrial engineering. Students are free to select their own in-department and out-of- department elective courses. Students pursuing this degree usually focus on entering the industry after graduation, though many Ph.D. programs now also accept M.Eng. degrees for admission. This degree is also offered via Distance Learning.
