The M.Eng. in Industrial Engineering degree is a non-thesis degree requiring at least 30 credit hours. M.Eng. in I.E. is a structured, professional-oriented master s degree to cover basic knowledge sets, methods and tools in industrial engineering. Students are free to select their own in-department and out-of- department elective courses. Students pursuing this degree usually focus on entering the industry after graduation, though many Ph.D. programs now also accept M.Eng. degrees for admission.
