Thomas Jefferson UniversityThe program teaches cutting-edge technical textile processes to students with science or engineering backgrounds. Courses focus on fibrous material product development and characterization, and teach techniques such as fabric formation, product development, and product testing. The program familiarizes students with hands-on experience with weaving, knitting, nonwoven and composites equipment in the innovative Fashion and Textiles Futures Center on the East Falls campus.
High school GPA of 3.0/4.0 (US grading scale), Interview with Admissions Representative, Test scores: TOEFL minimum required score of 80, IELTS minimum required score of 6.5 overall band. Letter of Intent/Statement of Purpose, 3 Letters of Recommendation, Resume/CV and Sample research/writing sample.
