2 Years On Campus Masters Program
Washington State University PullmanOur School offers programs of study for full time and part-time students leading to the degrees of Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering, MS in Materials Science & Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering (all on the Pullman campus). Our School participates in the interdisciplinary degree programs of MS in Engineering, Ph.D. in Engineering Science, and Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering. Thesis and non-thesis options are available for the MS degree. Programs of study are individualized with an interdisciplinary focus. Students are expected to pursue their degree programs with success and to earn the MS degree in two years and the Ph.D. in four years.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. Typically, students should have completed a minimum of four years of study beyond grade 12. Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a B grade or better. Provide three letters of recommendation through the online application process. Submit unofficial transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 7.0 overall. Copy of Passport GRE required
