The Department of Classics offers a graduate program of study with specializations in Latin or in Latin and Greek, leading to the Master of Arts degree. The program provides students with advanced study of Latin and/or Greek language and literature in the context of a broader and deeper understanding of Greek and Roman culture and civilization. Students choose one of two tracks toward the degree: Latin, or Latin and Greek. Students are required to take advanced language courses, but also have the option to take a course in related disciplines outside of the Classics Department.
