Program Overview

Cornell's two year M.F.A. program is ideal for you if you want to hone your literary writing skills without leaving your day-to-day life. In our low-residency program, you'll complete most of your creative and critical work from your home base, wherever that might be. You'll travel to Cornell's campus for nine-day residencies to kick off each semester and as a final celebratory culmination at the end of the program.
