George Mason UniversityPracticing PK–12 teachers who pursue this master's degree enhance their expertise in teaching English learners with equity and excellence.
This concentration is for teachers in any grade level and content area who wish to deepen their professional knowledge around integrating content and language/literacy instruction for English learners into their practice so as to create optimal learning experiences and outcomes for culturally and linguistically diverse learners. It prepares licensed teachers for the Virginia add-on endorsement in ESOL PK–12.
Application An earned baccalaureate degree from a Mason-recognized accredited institution of higher education, or international equivalent Unofficial Transcripts GPA 3.0 out of (4.0 scale) TOEFL iBT: 88 and 20 in each subsection OR IELTS 7.0 overall and 6.5 in each subsection.
