MA in English

The four key elements students who are studying in MA in English program will be, First how to Demonstrate broad knowledge of Anglophone literary histories, works, genres, contexts and major theoretical approaches. Second how to construct persuasive critical arguments, in oral and written form, that effectively enter into scholarly conversations about literature. Third how to evaluate and employ print and electronic resources to construct researchdriven and disciplinarily effective critical arguments. Fourth how to demonstrate effective teaching strategies appropriate to the First Year English curriculum. Finally Students will analyze how to study and pass a written comprehensive examination which consists of demonstrate broad knowledge of Anglophone literary histories, works, genres, contexts and major theoretical approaches by constructing persuasive critical arguments that effectively enter into scholarly conversations about literature.
