Program Overview

This graduate Language and Literacy Education program, offered by the early, middle and exceptional education department, allows students to choose between two concentrations: a reading specialist concentration leading to reading specialist certification or an English as a second language concentration leading to ESL certification. Both concentrations open up opportunities for elementary and secondary teachers to participate in original research and experiential programs in this field.
