Program Overview

The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is one of the very few schools that offers our students the chance to leverage both communication and media to create a specialized learning experience. In maintaining our commitment to remain on top of the developments in these continually evolving industries, our faculty and staff recently transitioned the Master of Communication and Information Studies (MCIS) to a Master of Communication and Media (MCM). With exceptional faculty and prominent strengths in both our Communication and Journalism and Media Studies Departments, we feel this positive name change appropriately represents our program as we grow with the industries and careers our students are pursuing.
