The Master of Science in Environmental Sciences is a multidisciplinary program. In addition to courses in chemistry and geology, there are opportunities for study in economics, geography, health sciences, management, and public administration. Students are admitted from numerous backgrounds, but generally with bachelor's degrees in some scientific field such as chemistry, biology, or environmental science. This program is designed to provide a broad background in sciences relevant to the environment, and is designed so that it can potentially be completed in two years.
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; Completion of an undergraduate major in geology, chemistry or associated fields, One year each of laboratory courses in: general chemistry, organic chemistry and physics; One full-term course in basic calculus or methods in calculus and quantitative analysis; cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 in all courses used for credit in the major; Submission of scores from the GRE, International Application CSUApply, GPA Requirement: For GPA requirement,English Language Proficiency Requirement can be met by:TOEFL iBT 79/80 or PBT 550, IELTS 6.0 total band score, Successful completion of level 4 of CSUSB English Language Program, Submission of financial support statement bank statement, Copy of passport, Official transcripts sealed in an envelope by your school, Official proof of Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in its home country
